Z televize se ozývají intenzivní a emocionálně vyhrocené zvuky, obsahující pláč, prosby, nadávky a rány. Diskrétní zóna je zde jakýmsi symbolem dveří bytu, vzdálenosti od oné události či pouhá lhostejnost okolí. Snažím se tímto položit otázku, do jaké míry nám brání nějak zasáhnout? Zda je pro nás tato „diskrétní zóna“ natolik velkou překážkou, nebo se jen sami sebe snažíme obelhat, že věci nemusí být tak zlé, jak se zdají. Původní videozáznam byl vytvořen šestnáctiletou dívkou, kterou týral její vlastní otec (Texaský soudce).

From the television to hear intense and emotionally edgy sounds, including crying, pleading, insults and blows. Discrete zone is described there as a kind of symbol of the apartment door, away from that event or mere indifference of surroundings. With that, I'm trying to ask the question to what extent it prevents us from getting involved? Whether it is for us this "discrete zone" so big obstacle, or we are just trying to deceive ourselves that things may not be as bad as they seem. The original video was created by sixteen year old girl abused by her own father (Texas judge)
